Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.


Author Guidelines

The papers submitted must be suitable to the objectives of the Praxis Filosófica Journal. Original papers, reviews of books, critical reviews and translations should be sent by electronic mail (e-mail) to attaching a file in Word format, with the following specifications:

  • Papers may not exceed 7500 words.
  • Critical reviews or critical studies of books should not exceed 5000 words.
  • Translations must have the relevant legal permits: the author of the original and / or the publisher of the document.
  • The four types of papers have to be presented on letter size and font Times New Roman 12, line spacing 1.15.
  • Items that integrate terms or sentences in ancient Greek, should use in typeface like Athenian, Greek or sgreek.
  • The approved papers must be submitted in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German or Portuguese. With the aim of improving international consultation (visibility) of the document, to authors whose articles are approved, a second version of the full document or a summarized version in English is requested. This will be published in digital format on

  • According to our politic (CC by Nc Nd), papers presented and submitted to praxis filosófica journal don’t have any cost for authors.Likewise, the journal won’t earn money with them. Paper must be unpublished character as a product from investigation or any project to subject Praxis filosófica.Therefore, papers must not subject to any other process during our process.
  • Papers published in Praxis filosófica couldn’t be republished as paper in other arbitrated journals. However they could be compiled in translations, reviews, books, as long as be Praxis filosofica reconized as inicial publicher.
  • The Authors authorize the publishing of complete papers in web sites and databases where the journal appears.Therefore, we ratify our politics of free access and download of the content, non-profit making.
  • The Authors that publish in Praxis filosofica journal could promote the content of the journal in which their paper appears, with the purpose to promote the philosophical and academic dialoge.
  • The authors of the papers will get two copies, if they need them. The first one must be delivered to the library or the documentation center of the institutions they belong, the second one is for the authors.




Both articles and critical reviews of books should contain as heading:

  • Title in Spanish and English (centered, in capital and bold type);
  • Name of author / a (right aligned, lower case, normal)
  • University or institution to which the author(s) (right-aligned small letter) belongs.
  • Analytic summary in original language and English, no longer than 150 words or 15 lines.
  • 5 key words in Spanish and English separated by semicolons (are exclusive of proper names and titles of works).
  • If the paper or not contain boards or diagrams, they are made with the respective option of the text processor used or otherwise using the tab key. Do not use the spacebar.
  • The subtitles (in small letter and bold) must be aligned to the left, separated from the previous paragraph by a space and should not be listed. In case of having to use Sub-items (into the frame of the very subtitles) these must be in italic type.
  • Paragraphs should not be spaced and should not be in bleeds. Since the texts will be handled with design and layout programs for printing, it is preferable to use the minimum possible number of formatting codes.



Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word,
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
